Dr. Lucia Yau is an experienced dentist with her office conveniently located in the Anaheim and nearby Fullerton areas. Dr. Lucia Yau is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.  She ranked among the top percentile of her class and earned Tufts Merit Scholarship four years in a row.  Upon graduation in 1999, she received the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award and Northeastern Society of Periodontists Award, highlighting her exceptional skills in general dentistry and gum treatment.   Dr. Yau continues to update her skills by attending continuing education courses beyond the minimum state requirement.

    For example, she is a lifetime member in the USDI program for orthodontics.  And in 2007, Dr. Yau completed a CDA sponsored training program that focused on children's dental health and currently serving children as young as age one in addition to adults in her office.

    Dr. Yau holds dental licenses in California and Massachusetts.  She is the current Secretary for Orange County Dental Society Dental Health Foundation; a non-profit corporation which aim to improve dental care access for those in need, particularly children.  She is an active member of the Orange County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. 

    Through out the year, you will find Dr. Yau at numerous dental screening events held at senior centers and community centers in the cities of Anaheim, Cerritos, Fullerton and Santa Ana.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and running. 

    Most significantly, she had been awarded pumpkin pie for running the 10K "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving day.  And is proud to have finished her first Huntington Beach Surf City half-marathon on February 3rd, 2008 in pouring rain.  Continuing the legacy, she finished her second and third half-marathon in 2009 and then in 2010!
